Huntington Beach - No official HBOTHVA results were posted this weekend as Lou Zaffino was mysteriously absent.  The last correspondence from Lou was a terse e-mail indicating that his "company" was having problems.  None of the other HBOTHVA members understood the full meaning of Lou's message; however, that is often the case so there was no undue concern.

 

Robert Riedl was Lou's replacement for the weekend in which a round-robin format was used.  Virtually all 5 games played were close with both Joe and Bern registering 3 wins each. Extremely uncharacteristic was Greg's 0 for 5 performance.  However, we understand that Greg performed beautifully the night before...  Also adding to Greg's "condition" was the fact that he only registered about 3 hours of sleep the night before....  Nice work anyway Greg!

 

Perhaps the most stunning performance was the comeback registered by Joe and Robert in the final game.  Down, 14 - 6, Joe and Robert battled their way back and won the game.  That's big time determination folks!!!
