The HBOTHVA was formed in 1999 by Joe Raszewski, Bern Baumgartner, Lou Zaffino, and Greg Dilibero. This exclusive
group, also known by some as "The Fab 4", is dedicated to the persuit of excellence in 2-man beach volleyball. While
known more for court and net preparation as well as beach volleyball etiquette, all members of HBOTHVA have been known to
hit an occasional winner on the court.
Joe "It ain't workin for you" Raszewski is feared by his opponents for his short game. He has unbelievable touch
and a way of striking fear into the opposition as well as his teammate.
Bern "Baumgee" Baumgartner is known for extra hustle and an occasional ace serve. If given a perfect set, he can
also come up with a medium-paced spike.
Lou "The Italian Stallion" Zaffino is know for his crafty 3rd shots and his 6-pack. Always a favorite with the
women, Lou's heart is with his wife and child.
Greg "Budda" Dilibero is known for all around solid play, sportsmanship, and athleticism. He is the only member
of the Fab 4 that is capable of hand setting (legally).
In addition to the HBOTHVA Charter members, the HBOTHVA is proud to list a select group of Honorary HBOTHVA members.
